POWER

There are two technologies, if brought together can be a Prime Mover towards nuclear power détente and bring about a power grid emissions free, sufficient for a 500 hundred year growth.  Teach, Present and Win! The Thorium molten salt nuclear super conduction hydrogen/electrical grid. All industries involved are ready, needing a kick start, but they’re dead at the gate because of fear of the blinded mobs of tree huggers getting their fix on.

But problems are only constraints and constraints can be fixed or attuned.

This presentation comes from taking the pieces apart and putting them back together to win/win. And the only President that can reach such great heights is Pres Trump. Done in a Trump way for all to see what dreams are possible. “With a lasting legacy, of not the infrastructure we build, it was when the nation rejoined and accomplish wondrous things hundreds of years into the future, upon which we build today.”

The nuclear component is ready to go! But the Superconducting is just breaking out of the nascent stage and still requires liquid hydrogen as a coolant with a quest to be super conducting at room temperature. The quest of room temperature may not be ours, as the hydrogen gas provides comparative portable fuel. The hydrogen fuel can thought of as a battery since it works in a combustion engine or electric motors for power. Ironically, the bests place to make liquid hydrogen is at a nuclear plant.

One infrastructure two fuels, Go Electric, Go Renewable Gas! Fossil Free!

This is not the fast roll out kind of thing. It's not a money wasting government project. Government's job is to provides right of way. Not a one size fits all government solution, with the cronies getting all the money. This project needs to adapt to the improving technology. Several Superconductor hops have been made, one of them being a kilometer. We are going to notch this up a little. We will start connecting major hubs so profits can be ascertain to finance the rest of the infrastructure. With profits come investment, with investment come product improvements.

BUT, as soon as I talk nuclear the conversation stops.

The related industries are fragmented and fear collaborating, there is always a non-green line to cross to get to the other side. Sooner or later for one reason or another you’re running up against an infringed person, the “say never” people.

So the only real hurdle is how we bring a nation that’s divided, together over the problem that divides us.

There is a lot on this line; the divisiveness is hinged on this issue, Break this, Break all. Do nothing, doom all. The way this is done is to purvey common sense knowledge in such a way all parties get their logic bell rung. Have something for everybody to say Yes to.

One speech can change the course of history

Imagine President Trump standing on the steps of Indian Point Energy Center with his whole family giving this speech.

I’m here today to bring people together. This nuclear facility is a breath away from the great City of New York and the surrounding area, and a stalemate persists between two sides with nothing being accomplished. Which is a problem throughout all projects in this country, nowadays. Today we benefits from works of people done a century ago, so our task is to build the power needed for tomorrow. This is what this country asks.

This country will need more power as we travel into the future. The electric car is veiled as a solution to climate change. Do they know how electricity is made? So here is the quagmire can’t shut the plant down because we need it and cant relocate it because of protests. So nothing happens, the plants stay in operation. Danger lurks in the stalemate! Who do I blame? Who do I blame when something catastrophic happens, the operators or the protesters?? Who’s at fault? All we get is why the other side is wrong, but what difference does this make after the damage is done.

This plant need to be shut down!

We will never get anything done this way and will welter into the pages of history. America needs to be at leadership as humankind moves into the next phase of civilization. There is a way to do this but we have to do it together. The green movement has served a great deed to this country. As you see we don’t face the same pollution levels as China. So thank you, the green movement points out failures and to its credit American Corporations responds. We care, they care! Some automobile have zero polluting emissions, scrubbers for what used to be called smoke stacks and clean coal are some of the responses. We need to deal with thing truthfully.

When you’re just yelling and protesting you’re not bringing logic to the table.

As with the keystone pipeline, of all the pipelines in this country, what is so specifically wrong? Every consideration was given and it still, NO. Lay out your logic, win our hearts. If it’s just going to be no without logic, you need to step aside.  You can’t fix something if you’re working with deception. Let’s work from undistorted facts and get to the truth, so technology can address these issues.

Everybody wants clean air and water and electricity. Yes and electricity. And just to say NO to everything has to stop. It’s not one side against other, it's only "the right thing to do". And that's what I’m here TO DO! If we take away the fight and the finger pointing, we can do it. We need inputs from both sides to do this right. Give a little, take a little, but get the job done and have victories, but get the job done. This is what I do, I get the people together that can get the job done.

A couple more things to say before I start. Making electricity from oil is crazy, A waste of a valuable portable fuel. We have made great advancement with clean coal and have vast deposit of it so that will remain in the loop as backup. It will be nice when we get to only using fossil fuel for backup at peak hours. Our beautiful waterway should fundamentally be left alone (States Rights) as we share these habitats with other life. After all at the end of the day, it’s about life.

At the advent of the nuclear age several technologies were developed some of them are by far safer with less hazardous waste. The current class of nuclear plants has obvious risk, namely the pressurized containment vessel, integration with fresh water supply and proximity to large population center.  As we have seen the problems becomes thousandfold as it spreads and interact with air and water. This is why we are here at this spot today.

It’s been said that the military pushed the nuclear industry toward the light water reactor for the byproduct of plutonium. If true, that’s over. I think the military has enough plutonium. It’s time to think about us. It turns out the environmentalist were right about the dangers about light water reactor, However, their absolutism, put fear into the nuclear industry which ironically locked this technology in place, and since light water licenses were previously issued, that’s what’s proliferated. Ironically, Given time, without the protest, the industry may have matured and abandoned this tech on its own. But now we can’t shut them down. So in a sense we are living the worst possible scenario.

Together we can address these issues. In short redeploy reactors with this safer NuNuclear technology. The NuNuclear plants will be the engine to power the superconducting hydrogen grid. The SuperGrid changes the whole game. Without electrical degradation other power generation plants can now happen on location of the resources , like in the great State of Pennsylvania and West Virginia coal mines. No need to transport coal toward a big city. Renewable can feed into the grid from better suited location away from populations.

And one more point concerning coal. Smokestacks No No!! CO2 is not a poison, it's plant food. Plant prefer an elevated level of CO2's which is what commercials Greenhouses do to grow plants. So why would we pump the food into the air. You would pump it low level, like into a valley with millions of trees. You want a healthy forest you got it. Now I'm not a genius and exact on this, but there are answers, good answers.

It truly is a national grid.

Imagine? The call comes in early morning, the coal mines of the Appalachians that have been powering the nation’s superconducting grid overnight will now slow down and go into standby. The solar plants are catching early morning sun and a ocean breeze is winding up windmills on the north Atlantic coastline. A strong wind is blowing down from Canada powering the windmills across the Plains States. Solar Plants across the Southwest are peaking late afternoon with California capturing the setting sun. During the day the NuNuclear was able focus their output on Hydrogen Creation which will be used as a portable fuel.

Hydrogen would be the item of choice if there is ample supply. Clean, Efficient with water being the byproduct. It can be used in a combustion engine or convert directly into electricity. As with all portable fuels there are dangers. The unique thing about hydrogen is that it burns upwards and doesn’t spill on the ground getting everywhere. The people on Hindenburg were able to get out of the Hindenburg for this reason.

This is a big undertaking and we need all hands. If people blindly come out to protest they’re for the status quo and the status quo is dangerous. Only together can this be solved. Know that if you don’t come together you have missed the chance and are truly the ones responsible for holding the industry to this obsolete equipment. There are solutions, incredible solutions that can meet the needs, but you have honest and bring your needs so it can be integrated into the solution.

My back of the napkin would say 40% NuNuclear 30% coal, Fossil fuel for backup and peak hours and all the renewables you can pump into the pipeline. We will not need any 'right of way' as super grid can run with current power lines that paths our great country. And here is my point we need the 'green attitude people' to make sure no animal migratory paths are disrupted. We can get this right but we need each other. No side is absolutely right over the other. Let’s revamp the whole system. One and done, That is, let’s do it, let’s do it right, lets preserve this country and put a power infrastructure that will be harmonious with the Planet Earth so that following Americans will enjoy and flourish.

Back to technology, what makes these systems safer than the pressurized system of today is exactly that there not pressurized. Water boils at 232 f, pressure prevent it from boiling at higher temperature but that’s not the real problem. During an incidents the water separates into hydrogen and oxygen. Think about that for a moment. Hydrogen and oxygen are the two ingredients for rocket fuel sitting atop a uranium pool. These incidents are rare due to safety standards nonetheless there. I’m not here to scare you because we have answers but we have to do more than finger pointing.

The two competing technology are molten salts and liquid metal and you can literally pull the plug on them and nothing happens. I have no idea why we went with the light water technology. You pull the plug the pile get hot. And hot things expand. The expansion stops the atomic reaction and that’s it. No pressure, nothing turning into gas. A bomb could blow it up and it will simply solidify at room temperature and remain as a solidified contained mass. Just shovel it up. No mixing with water or the atmosphere.

AKA Self Containment

And also some of these nunuke reactors can use low grade depleted uranium so we can get rid of the stockpile currently sitting at the light water reactors pools. The Thorium Reactor actually makes the uranium as it goes. It’s fantastic! Seems like a great solution all the way around for everybody.

I’m going to lay some ground rules, for every nunuke built a light water must to be decommissioned. Maybe not the whole building which may serve a purpose in the future but all fissile material must be removed.

So, in simple terms we decommission all light water reactors. Build reactor with nunuke technology in extremely safe areas far away from population centers and water ways, produce electricity and liquid hydrogen, develop a superconducting grid using the current power line grid’s 'right of ways'. Renewable that suffer from the degradation can now be in full glory as they tap into the grid in their best suited locations, with the bonus of a portable fuel for transportation with a battery backup.

Sound great makes a lot of sense lets do it!!
