A Case For Term Limits

The founding fathers’ biggest goal was for no individual or party to gain any lasting substantial political power. This objective has been foiled in America’s congress. We are electing a political machine more than a person. The naysayers claim it’s their expertise lost would be detrimental. That expertise is exactly what’s detrimental. In a sense all they’re good at is getting elected. Getting elected and staying in power is their motivator, the peoples work is secondary.

Pres Trump is experiencing the consequences of this bad policy. A great policy example is the electoral college. Fix this and America will fix itself automatically in due time. The lobbyist power structure will be shattered since they no longer have that long nurtured personal relationship with congressman.

These bad experiences are not legal problems they are political. And only a political solution will remedy. I’m suggesting a Non-Binding proposition concerning congressional term limits of the 2020 ballot. You must keep these people back on their heels. Fixing this problem will be cited as your biggest achievement by all Americans well into the future.

With this non-binding on the ballot the BIG question will be during the next election cycle will be, Congressman, are you going to respect the will of the people? We already know the outcome of the ballot proposal. Overwhelming people on both sides of the political spectrum, WITH PASSION want term limits.
